Furniture
The Sparrow Chair
These two chairs, which I call Sparrows, were recently on display at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, as part of the 2014 Dimensions: Juried Exhibition of Fine Craft in California.
Helen's Bench
I built this bench as a memorial to my mom. It resides in the lobby of the convalescent home in Hanford, CA where she was so lovingly cared for. I also built for them a special library which is wheelchair-accessible.
Thank you, Hacienda!
'Chelf'
This playful design is a play on combining a tall chair with shelving, thus, a “chelf.”
Wine Cabinet
This cabinet was commissioned by a couple in San Luis Obispo who had just started their wine collection.
Tom's Day Bed
Tom walked into my shop with a sketch on a napkin and asked me if I could build this day bed that expressed the waves of the ocean. So I asked him to leave the napkin with me for a week. I realized the wave form would work nicely with a chaise lounge design. I generated a set of drawings and then built the project for him.
